The Academic Recovery Graduate Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the university’s Academic Recovery programs, specifically designed for students on academic probation and suspension. This position involves serving as a facilitator for the courses corresponding to the program as well as supporting with the interventions that aim at promoting academic success, student engagement, and personal development. The Graduate Assistant will work closely with students through the Blackboard course, fostering meaningful connections with faculty, staff, and university resources. By managing the students enrolled in their corresponding Academic Recovery section and supporting Academic Recovery coaches, the graduate assistant will track academic performance, provide guidance, and contribute to the overall improvement of academic recovery initiatives.

Other Requirements For The Position
- Serve as a Recovery Coach and Course facilitator for Academic Recovery programs and courses. Including programming and courses required for students on academic probation and suspension.
- Manage a section of the UNIV-Academic Recovery courses per semester which will include but not be limited to by conducting individual appointments with students for office hours, facilitating student communication and resources, grading assignments, and being engaged with the students in the course section.
- Assist with select logistical needs for academic recovery programs such as tracking Academic Recovery program/course completion. Contribute to the planning and implementation of program assessments, resulting in evidence-based improvements.
- Support various ASC departmental initiatives including, but not limited to GUIA training, Progress Report Campaigns, and department information presentations.
- Deliver referral information where needed to guide students in seeking appropriate campus support.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
