Location

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Serves as a hands-on project manager who works with division and college leadership teams to deliver project management, portfolio management, and implementation support for key strategic initiatives. Manages large-scale, enterprise-level projects that align to university strategic priorities. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and efficient implementation of enterprise-level initiatives.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the planning, design, execution, and implementation of large-scale projects, programs, and change initiatives
  • Manages changes to project plan, schedule, cost, and scope
  • Identifies critical path decisions and communicates to project stakeholders
  • Provides guidance and support to project team and managers
  • Builds and maintains relationships with campus partners
  • Collaborates with project team members in making strategic decisions when appropriate
  • Defines, tracks, assesses, and communicates the value and impact of projects through value assessment surveys and case study development
  • Develops regular project status reports for both project sponsors and strategic implementation committees
  • Conducts presentations related to project management
  • Engages in change management within the scope of unit projects
  • Responsible for portfolio management across unit projects

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field.

Required Experience

Five (5) years of direct project management experience.

Preferred Educational Qualifications

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Preferred Experience

Experience with project management software solutions

Experience in higher education

Experience managing or supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementation or modernization projects

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)

Strong critical thinking skills

Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
