We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated instructors who demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and the ability to motivate and educate engagingly. Courses are designed to prepare students for industry certification and employment in technical roles, with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and real-world application. Instructions may be delivered in-person and/or remotely during weekday evenings or weekends.

- The hiring decision for part-time faculty involves an academic judgment and shall be determined at Management’s sole discretion.
- Deliver hands-on, skills-based instruction using Power BI aligned with course objectives.
- Teach adult learners preparing for industry certification and/or technical careers.
- Teach courses in-person and/or remotely on weekday evenings or weekends.
- Collaborate with staff and faculty on curriculum development and updates.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and submit administrative tasks promptly.
- Provide students with effective support, communication, and timely feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Must be fluent in using Power BI with current or recent professional experience.
- Working knowledge or a combination of training and teaching experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Science.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching adult learners.
- Able to teach in person.

- Faculty members are expected to have access to a personal computer with virus protection that can connect to the internet outside of the work location (i.e., office, classroom, college campus)*. Montgomery College (MC) provides an MC e-mail account and access to the learning platform, password-protected faculty sections of the website, college listservs, and other faculty communications tools. *If you do not have access to a personal computer, please notify the department chair at the time of interview. Subject to available funds, the college may be able to provide temporary access to resources.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a sponsor.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Industry-recognized certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics, or CompTIA Data .
- Experience teaching adult or non-traditional learners.
- Experience delivering instruction in hybrid, in-person, and online modalities.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard).
