Expected starting hourly wage is $16 - $20 per hour and 40 hours per week. This is an Other Personnel Services (OPS) position.

High school diploma and one year of relevant experience.

Job Description:
- Assist with planting, maintenance, and harvesting of large and small research plot trials at University of Florida IFAS
- Conduct soil, tissue, water, and pest diagnostic sampling for row crops and vegetables, including greenhouse
- Collect, organize, and accurately enter research data into spreadsheets and online platforms.
- Communicate with farm managers, producers, and fellow staff to coordinate on-farm activities.
- Participate in planning and execution of Extension field days and other events for farmers and the public.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the mission of NFREC-SV
