About the FSU COM OSCS: The FSU College of Medicine (COM) Office of Student Counseling Services provides psychological and educational support services to graduate students in the Medicine, Physician Assistant, Bridge to Medicine, and Biomedical Sciences programs. Hourly rate range is between $33.65 – $40.00, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and comprehensive academic support services for a variety of student learners in the FSU College of Medicine, including but not limited to effective and efficient study strategies, time management, and test taking skills.
- Create individualized learning plans and deliver evidence-based learning strategies to students in medical education.
- Prepare students for high-stakes standardized examinations.
- Maintain documentation related to academic support sessions. Respect confidentiality, HIPAA and FERPA.
- Refer students as needed for additional support services, such as mental health, psychiatry, or academic accommodations.
- Ed.S. or Ph.D. in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field.
- Certification/licensure in school psychology.
- Advanced knowledge in learning sciences and educational psychology.
- Experience in academic advising, coaching, or student support in higher education.
- Experience in medical or health-sciences education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
