Job Description
Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY seeks a mathematician to teach Calculus II for both the fall 2024 and spring 2025 terms.
The position is a half-time guest appointment, requiring two full days of presence on campus for the fall and spring terms. College-level teaching experience is required. In addition to teaching the course (maximum 15 students), the faculty member will meet one-on-one with each student every other week to assist them in the conception, design, and execution of an individualized project related to mathematics and their interests.
Application materials must include a cover letter including a statement of teaching experience and how considerations of diversity, equity, and inclusion inform your teaching; a resume; and three letters of recommendation.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Compensation for this position is on a per-course basis, contingent on teaching experience.
