Duties Performed In The Usual Course Of The Job
Teach UNIV 1101 Learning Frameworks one-credit-hour course. Lecturer-Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to four courses per semester. Course requirements include teaching first-year students to achieve academic, career and personal goals, take advantage of campus resources, develop community and a sense of belonging, and contribute to our Bearkat community in face-to-face classes at the main campus in Huntsville, Texas. Embedded peer mentor support in each class. Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based upon student demand, on a semester-by-semester basis.
Educational Requirements For The Position
Requires a minimum of Master’s degree in related field for lower level course offerings.
Experience Required For The Position
Higher Education and teaching experience preferred.
Other Requirements For The Position
This posting is for the Fall 2026 semester.
