Responsibilities
This role involves the work of assuring the successful execution and completion of large-scale projects using project management standards, processes, and tools. The Project Manager leads project teams in FLVC teams in clearly defining project goals, deliverables, risks, and critical success factors; understanding and using project portfolio management and project management tools and systems; in executing project coordination processes in the context of those systems; and in tracking work breakdown structures, team member assignments, and the status of individual tasks. The Project Manager conducts outreach and training as needed to improve project management practices in the organization.
Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience or high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

- Leads project teams in the tracking of work breakdown structures, team member assignments, and the status of individual tasks. Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with academic calendars, enrollment cycles and peak operational periods for higher education
- Experience coordinating with distributed college/department IT units
- Experience working with/in higher education environments (public or private colleges/universities)
- Knowledge/experience with initiatives focused on student retention, enrollment technology, or accessibility services
