Summary Of Job Duties And Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for didactic and clinical instruction within the School of Nursing and Health Professions. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to scholarship and service as well as excellence in teaching. Additional responsibilities include developing clinic schedules, assisting with calibration of faculty, maintaining student records, assisting in the application process, infection control compliance and regulating clinical policies.

Minimum Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene or closely related field is required.
- Graduate of a dental hygiene program or dental school/college accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) required.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist is required.
- Eligible for Kentucky licensure as an RDH.
- BLS Certification is required.
- Two years of experience as a registered dental hygienist preferred.
- Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration certifications preferred.
