Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for Front Desk Student Worker - Institutional Student Worker in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions on the Dahlonega campus. An employee in this position will provide timely information about the admissions process to prospective students. They will also work with others in the admissions office to ensure that daily functions are carried out.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and emails to assist prospective and incoming students with the application process.
• Respond to voicemails.
• Greet prospective students and / or their parents who may walk into the office and answer questions they may have.
• Assemble informational packets for incoming students.
• Aid the admissions office with daily tasks.
• Help process documents that are sent to the admissions office.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Must be able to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to speak to others in a clear and concise manner.
• Knowledge of UNG's campuses and programs, preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience, preferred.
• Banner student information system experience, preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Office administration experience, preferred.
