Job Summary
Assist in the athletic communications office by publicizing GGC's intercollegiate athletic teams through storytelling on GGCAthletics.com, managing in-game statistics, and developing social media marketing strategies. Interact with student-athletes and coaches during sporting events through photography and game operations.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions -
Interact with student-athletes during sporting events
Manage in-game statistics.
Develop social media and marketing strategies.
Light administrative support such as making copies, organizing various documents, and data entry.
Take game-day photos.
Required Qualifications
Other Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College.
Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of
employment.
Must be in good conduct standing with the Office of Student Integrity and maintain good
conduct for the duration of employment.
Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to apply judgment and discretion in performing confidential personnel matters.
Ability to be highly organized, attentive to details, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
English or Marketing major or interest in the Athletics workforce.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
