Under moderate to limited supervision, provides department support, manages department processes, and ensures smooth running of the office. This position will work approximately 26 hours per week Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Summer hours are in effect May 15-July 31. During this time, all KCC offices are closed on Fridays.)

- Perform various office clerical duties, including scheduling activies using scheduling software, ordering and stocking supplies, sorting and distributing mail, entering maintenance orders, keeping work areas in an operational state.

- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling student records, and department documents.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with diverse groups of students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.

- Exhibit attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when assisting with department operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant experience using standard office software and equipment.
- Must have experience entering and organizing information in spreadsheets.
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- Two or more years of relevant office experience
