Summary of Position: Candidate must be highly organized, motivated and proficient at handling a variety of tasks inside the football program. This will include handling all aspects of the defensive portion of program and duties related to defensive development. This position also serves as the as the Recruiting Coordinator for the program.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for development of every defensive/offensive player on roster
- Responsible for development of defensive/offensive coaching staff
- Responsible to design, implement and manage executing of defensive/offensive system
- Opponent Scouting
- Opponent Film breakdown
- Monitoring academic progress of student-athletes
- Any other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director
- Oversight of defensive/offensive staff comprised of two full-time and two stipend coaches
- Planning and implementation of weekly defensive/offensive game plan
- Responsible for retention and development of all defensive/offensive players physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally
- Assist head coach with regards to vision and direction of program
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Two to five (2-5) Years of High School or Collegiate Coaching Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of computer applications for recruiting and video exchange and breakdown
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work weekends & evenings and also to travel
