Job Description:
The University of Florida College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a Customer Service Rep in Dental Records and Patient Registration. This position provides clerical and non-clerical support to the Office of Clinic Administration.
Support of Patient Registration
$15.80 - $16.86 per hour; commensurate with education and experience

- Aid the Patient Registration area with management of patient check-in, questions, phone calls and the college switchboard.
- Utilize Axium to accurately collect and document Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Prepare daily for patient appointments. Collect and accurately record all demographic information, obtain photo identification, insurance details and all necessary patient consent forms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment while adhering to all safety and security protocols.
- Duplicate records as they come in at the front desk. Patients may request an email copy by using the secure portal and compliance with the HIPPA disclosure form.
- Complete documentation of all actions taken.
- Serve as a backup for the immediate supervisor during absences.
- Successfully complete various projects as assigned on a timely basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
