The Division of Comprehensive Otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University seeks a board-eligible or board-certified otolaryngologist to join the Division as an Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line.

The successful applicant should be board-eligible or board certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.

We expect the successful candidate to develop an active clinical (medical and surgical) practice in general otolaryngology, be an active teacher of medical students and residents, oversee the clinical program, and engage in clinical research.

Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

The Expected Base Pay Range For This Position Is

Clinical Assistant Professor: 317,000 - $329,000

Clinical Associate Professor: $349,000 - $361,000

Clinical Professor: $382,000 - $388,000

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs. Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.

Salary : $382,000 - $388,000
