Background: The University of Florida (UF) Department of Urology at UF Health Shands Hospital is currently seeking a BC/BE Urologist for a full-time faculty position to meet the expanding clinical demands of our region. As a tertiary referral center serving North Central Florida, Southern Georgia, and surrounding communities, our department experiences a high volume of patients requiring specialized care for complex urologic conditions.
To sustain our mission of providing timely, high-quality care, we are looking to expand our current team of nine full-time urologists. The successful candidate will join a mature and robust practice with a primary clinical focus on the office and surgical treatment of urinary stone disease and BPH cases. Due to the increasing number of patients requiring metabolic evaluation, prevention care, and advanced surgical interventions—including ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy—there is a critical need for an additional fellowship-trained expert to manage this workload.
Advanced Clinical Resources And Support To Support The High Patient Throughput And The Complexity Of Cases Encountered At a Top-tier Public School (ranked 7th In The Nation), The Department Provides An extensive Infrastructure Designed For Clinical Efficiency. This Includes:

Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must have a M.D. degree and be licensed in or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida and be board certified or eligible.
