Job Description:
The Department of Pathology, Immunology, and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine (UFCOM) invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level (non-tenure track) in the Autopsy Service. It is anticipated that the candidate will assume the position of Director of Autopsy Services in due time. The successful applicant will also be expected to serve on other anatomic or clinical subspecialty services taking into consideration both departmental needs and applicant preference.
The successful applicant will be a full member of the University of Florida Department of Pathology, participating in the medical autopsy service at UF Health Shands Hospital, and contribute to medical student, resident and fellowship training in accredited programs in Pathology. UF Health Shands Hospital conducts approximately 200 autopsies per year. Scholarly study and investigation is also expected. Salary and rank are negotiable, commensurate with experience.
The final candidate will be required to provide an official transcript to the hiring department upon hire. A transcript will not be considered “official” if a designation of “Issued to Student” is visible. Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), which can be found at http://www.naces.org/

Salary will commensurate with education and experience
