The Office of Alumni Relations and Development at the School of Medicine Greenville is seeking to hire an Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement.
The Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement, SOMG, under supervision and reporting to the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement and Advancement Affairs, supports the strategic advancement goals of SOMG by conceptualizing, planning, and executing meaningful interactions, programs, and experiences that foster deeper relationships between graduates and the institution. The Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in enhancing alumni affinity and loyalty, encouraging volunteerism and participation, soliciting feedback, strengthening donor pipelines, and contributing to the philanthropic goals of the Office of Advancement through personalized communications and engagement opportunities. Collaborates and partners with external health care foundations and related community/region/statewide/national organizations and/or corporations as appropriate, with an overarching goal of increasing philanthropic support for SOMG. Demonstrates a commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
Job Related Minimum Required Education And Experience:
Collaborates with the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement and Advancement Affairs in the oversight, and ultimately, the implementation of, engagement with the School of Medicine Greenville (SOMG) Alumni Association and graduates to support a continued cultivation and, ultimately, investment in the institution while fostering a fundraising network and community partners. Assists as needed with special projects related to donor and community programming and special fundraising campaigns targeting the listed constituencies.
Supports the strategic advancement goals of the SOMG by conceptualizing, planning, and executing meaningful interactions, programs, and experiences that foster deeper relationships between graduates and the institution.Meaningful interactions and experiences include various annual andspecial/one-time events, and under guidance from the Senior Director, will research, plan, collaborate, execute and follow up with all necessary tasks surrounding respective programming.
