Responsibilities Full-time, 10-month tenure track (August 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027); 4/4 teaching load with the possibility of summer teaching.
Provide dedicated advising and mentorship to students as assigned, fostering their academic and professional growth.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to service through active participation in departmental, University, and professional activities.
Actively engagement in Student Success Initiatives and Professional Development.
Other duties assigned by the Department Chair, Dean, and Administration. Required Qualifications Doctorate in Music or Music Education (required, ABD considered) by time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching k-12 and university-level.
Experience teaching in online and hybrid modalities.
Experience collaborating across disciplines.
Experience serving as an academic advisor.
Experience coordinating students in experiential learning opportunities, internships, and High Impact Practices (HIPs). Proposed Salary
$60,000-$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications

- Serve as Director of Choral and Vocal Activities
- Direct the Concert Choir
- Teach Applied Voice
- Other courses may include Vocal Techniques, Vocal Diction, Music Appreciation, Music Education, Music Theory, and/or Music History, according to interest and departmental needs.
- Actively engage in research and scholarly activities to contribute to the academic excellence of the department.
