Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required from an accredited university.
Required Experience
More than one year of related experience required.
Extensive travel is involved; therefore employee must have a reliable means of transportation to use for recruitment travel (mileage reimbursement given).
Proposed Salary
This position offers a starting salary of $40,938.31 annually.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for implementing strategies that will result in recruiting traditionally underrepresented minority students to the university.
Responsibilities
Assists in recruiting new students. (60%)
- Travels to high schools, college fairs, and Probe fairs to recruit students.
- Plans and coordinates an extensive travel schedule to include ~100 days of visits/fairs at high schools and 60 - 80 nights in a hotel.
- Makes calls to identified students every day.
- Guides prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process.
- Maintain extensive communication with prospective students through text, email, phone, video messages, and in-person contact.
- Utilize office technological resources including TargetX, the CRM for the university, to effectively recruit students.
- Assists in coordinating recruitment events such as STORM day, Preview Day, and Accepted Student's Day.
- Processes student applications, high school transcripts, and SAT/ACT scores to make admission decisions.
- Communicate with students regarding their needed documents.
- Answers emails and phone calls.
- Processes documents received by prospective students.
- Performs related duties.
