Duties
Teach the fundamentals of pediatric sleep technology, including performance of pediatric sleep studies, staging and scoring of pediatric polysomnograms, and sleep disorders in the pediatric population. Normal sleep from the stages of newborn to young adult population is studied. Communication with patients and caregivers is emphasized.
Education/Experience
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential. Associate’s Degree in sleep technology, respiratory therapy or the equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certification in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH) preferred. Two years of pediatric sleep experience preferred.
Qualifications
The instructor must be effective in teaching and knowledgeable in subject matter as documented by appropriative professional credentials/certifications, education and experience in designated content area.

Hours
To be determined. Primarily 1-2 weekday evenings and some nights for clinical site visits
Salary/Wage
$1,162 per ECH
