Adjunct Faculty β Anatomy and Physiology Lab InstructorSpartanburg Methodist College invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position in anatomy and physiology. The successful candidate will teach up to three BIOL 210/211 labs (Anatomy and Physiology I/Anatomy and Physiology II). The labs are taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The instructor is responsible for all facets of the lab, including planning assessments, and lab preparations. The start date for Fall 2026 is August 11th, but the Department seeks candidates for future semesters as well. Contracts may be renewed on a semester-by-semester basis pending enrollment, instructor availability, and student success.

- Hold an MS or Ph.D. in a biological field with experience in teaching A&P. The successful candidate.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Be familiar with biological laboratory instruction.
- Have experience as a teacher at the college level (or demonstrable promise thereof).
- Have experience with Course Management Systems such as Blackboard, Canvas, or D2L.
- Be firmly committed to high-quality instruction for first-generation college students and be familiar with best practices in active learning pedagogies.
