There may be opportunities to teach other courses, especially College Algebra I and College Algebra II. Responsibilities

- Create a syllabus detailing course policies
- Create and maintain a course Canvas page
- Keep student grades up to date on Canvas throughout the semester
- Create class and homework assignments to reinforce course concepts
- Create exams to assess student learning
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
- Collaborate with full-time faculty to ensure consistency and alignment of course content
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students
- Maintain compliance with all institutional, departmental, and safety policies

- Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Classroom teaching experience required; college-level teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong background in mathematics

- Experience using digital learning platforms (Canvas or similar)
- Familiarity with active learning pedagogies, including group work, flipped classrooms, and student presentations is strongly preferred
