Preferred
The preferred candidate will demonstrate extensive experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas of television production and/or television studies:
- Television Production: Experience in multi-camera or single-camera production, in studio and/or field settings, across one or more phases of production (including pre-production and post-production). Expertise may be broad or focused on a specific sub-discipline, such as sound, graphics, or lighting.
- Television Studies: Experience in the critical analysis of television content, including industry-wide perspectives or specialized knowledge of particular genres or sectors (e.g., sports, entertainment, streaming platforms).
- Hold a terminal degree or a master’s degree in a related discipline, and/or possess significant professional experience in the field.
- Demonstrate experience in contemporary multi-camera studio and/or field television production and/or post-production, with the ability to develop curriculum in television production, entertainment, and news production.
- Provide evidence of substantial professional experience in television production.
- Teaching statement including evidence of effectiveness as an educator and approach to creating an inclusive learning environment
