The Department of Anthropology (https://www.hofstra.edu/anthropology/) of Hofstra University invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Cultural Anthropology courses on a semester-by-semester basis.Responsibilities include:
- Teach undergraduate courses in Cultural Anthropology and Gender and Sexuality· Typically teach one to two courses per semester.
- Master’s degree required
- Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusive in an educational environment.
- Experience teaching introductory Cultural Anthropology and Gender and Sexuality· Demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.
