Outpatient Therapist

InProcess Counseling LLC is seeking a fully licensed therapist willing to see individuals and/or couples for outpatient therapy. We are particularly interested in clinicians with private practice experience who are wanting to transition from a contractor position to a more optimal w-2 fee-for-service model where you maintain your independence but don't have to take on things like quarterly tax filings, credentialing, or saving on your own for retirement. Clinicians with 2-4 years of private practice experience will be given special consideration particularly if the clinician is able to bring clients or has an established referral network.

InProcess Counseling LLC is a small but growing private practice with a locations in East Town, Grand Rapids and in Cascade to help meet demand and grow our therapist/client-centric model. Additionally, the owner of the business is a therapist who sees clients regularly and will understand the type of support to have a long and fulfilling career as a therapist. This position will work out of Eastown office but a hybrid telehealth option is available.

The ideal candidate will be a fully licensed therapist/psychologist who is who is self-motivated, passionate, independent, willing to invest in our work culture, and be open to growing and learning. 2-4 years of private practice experience is preferred with special consideration if you already have an established case load or referral network.

Start dates are flexible within the next 1-3 months. We would be happy to start the credentialing process prior to your first day so you are ready to see clients as soon as you move into your office.

Roles and Responsibilities

The primary function of a clinical therapist is to maintain a weekly caseload of approximately 25 clients providing counseling services including building rapport, completing assessments/treatment plans, utilizing therapeutic interventions from different modalities, to complete paperwork in a timely manner, and to assist with administrative or supplementary tasks as needed to help our clients with the goals they bring into our offices.

License/Education Requirements

MA Degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or Doctorate in Psychology

Full-Licensure preferred but not necessary

Basic computer skills and willingness to use an Electronic Health Record

Preferred Skills

2-4 years of private practice experience with an established caseload/referral network

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Comfort with completing all tasks electronically as we strive to be a paper-free practice

Must be willing to work 1-2 evenings until 6:00 PM if your needing additional clients

Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Be self-directed, willing to take initiative on a variety of clinical and non-clinical tasks

Must be able to maintain client confidentiality and follow all HIPPA regulations

Maintain an active license in the state of Michigan

This is a FULL-Time W-2 Position

80,000 - 130,000 per year

65/35 Split with fee-split incentives up to 80 percent

Hybrid options available/encouraged with this position being primary located at our office in Eastown, Grand Rapids. Some in-person availability is recommended.
