Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive OT evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on independence and quality of life
- Treat patients recovering from neurological and orthopedic conditions in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Address ADLs, self-care, mobility, upper extremity function, and functional independence
- Provide care for patients with stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, orthopedic surgery, and other complex diagnoses
- Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications when appropriate
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety, recovery, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians, PTs, SLPs, nurses, case managers, and the interdisciplinary rehab team
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current OT license or eligibility for Arizona licensure
- New graduate Occupational Therapists encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
