What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator position at Inovabed?
We are looking for someone to join our team as a computer-controlled machine operator on the day shift.
Who we are:
We are a local Veteran-owned business that manufactures space-saving furniture and murphy beds for homes and other businesses such as Disney!
The operator would be working on the following machines: HOMAG panel saws, HOMAG edge banders, and WEEKE CNC machining centers for routing and drilling panels. Monday thru Thursday in a manufacturing facility. Overtime sometimes available. This is a fairly active position, requiring long periods of time on your feet. Periodically you will be required to lift up to 30 lbs. Strong computer skills, and a careful and conscientious attitude are required.

What you’ll do:
As a machine operator, you'll be an essential part of our process, responsible for operating saws, edge banders or CNC machines high-quality products with precision and care in a manufacturing setting. Your role will include:
§ Set up or program the computer responsible for the machinery.
§ Inspect items as instructed and provide feedback to management to ensure any quality defects can be avoided in the future
§ Perform daily maintenance on the machinery.
§ Handle materials appropriately and safely.
§ Reports immediately to supervisor all operational malfunctions and or equipment failures
§ Ensures the cut list is fulfilled, cross-checked, organized, labeled, and safe to hand off to the next step in the production
