Inova Pediatric Cardiology is looking for a dedicated Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm, after 6 months one remote day a month possible.

Job Locations: Willing to travel to all 9 clinic locations, but most frequently will work at our Fairfax Willow Oaks location

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:
Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include:
Full Intakes
Reconciliation of Medications
Patient Education
Serves as a clinical expert and a team lead for all clinical staff in the outpatient environment while communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others.
Achieves desired patient outcomes using integrated approach.
Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice.
Serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor to the outpatient team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Licensure: RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
Experience : 3 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatric RN experience, preferred cardiology/PICU- preferred passionate about peds cardiology
- Previous leadership, charge or preceptor experience
Salary : $5,250
