INOVA Federal Credit Union is seeking a relationship-focused, motivated, and member-driven Financial Solutions Specialist (Float) to join our Branch Operations team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a financial services professional or recent college graduate looking to build a rewarding career in banking, lending, and member relationship management.

The Financial Solutions Specialist plays an important role in improving the financial well-being of our members by providing personalized service, understanding member needs, and recommending financial solutions that support their goals.

As a Float Financial Solutions Specialist, this individual will support multiple INOVA branch locations throughout Elkhart, Granger, and Mishawaka, Indiana. This position provides the opportunity to gain experience across multiple branch environments while bringing flexibility, teamwork, and exceptional member service wherever support is needed.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, educating members, and creating meaningful financial experiences.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Build strong, lasting relationships with current and prospective members by providing exceptional service and personalized financial guidance.
• Identify member needs and recommend products and services that support their short- and long-term financial goals.
• Open and service checking, savings, money market, IRA, HSA, and business accounts.
• Assist members with consumer loan applications, credit cards, and other lending solutions.
• Conduct loan closings and explain loan terms, documentation, and requirements.
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier’s checks, and other account services.
• Educate members on digital banking, mobile banking, debit cards, online banking services, and other available tools.
• Assist members with account maintenance, problem resolution, and service-related requests.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through financial education and appropriate product recommendations.
• Provide support to multiple INOVA branch locations based on staffing needs, business priorities, and member demand.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while following all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support branch operations and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Financial Services, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant financial services experience will be considered.
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, lending, account services, retail banking, sales, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with consumer lending, account opening, or financial products is a plus.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different branch locations and changing business needs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Positive attitude and passion for helping members achieve financial success.
• Ability to travel between INOVA branch locations as needed.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public certification, if required.

Position Details

This is a full-time position supporting multiple INOVA Federal Credit Union branch locations in Elkhart, Granger, and Mishawaka, Indiana.

Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation as needed based on branch operations.

The Financial Solutions Specialist (Float) will work closely with branch teams and leadership while supporting members through account services, lending solutions, financial education, and exceptional service experiences.
