Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on General Manager to lead the daily operations of our limited-service hotel. This position is ideal for a leader who is comfortable working evenings, weekends, and stepping in wherever needed to ensure excellent guest service and smooth operations. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the property including guest satisfaction, team leadership, financial performance, and property maintenance.
This role requires someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and assist the team when necessary, whether helping at the front desk, supporting housekeeping, or addressing operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and property maintenance
- Lead by example and provide hands-on support to team members during busy periods
- Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance
- Monitor hotel performance including occupancy, revenue, and expenses
- Maintain property standards, cleanliness, and safety compliance
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to support hotel operations
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and team development
- Coordinate with ownership or regional management on reporting and operational goals
- Handle operational challenges quickly and professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel management or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in limited-service hotel operations strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and assisting in multiple departments
- Strong focus on guest satisfaction and team support
- Basic knowledge of hotel systems, reservations, and front desk operations
