Location: Oakland County, MI
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support development, testing, and maintenance of web and desktop applications using C# and .NET.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Assist with debugging and troubleshooting application issues.
- Participate in code reviews under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to database development, API creation, and integration tasks.
- Apply basic understanding of .NET development principles and best practices.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Utilize exposure to Python, React.js, Node.js, SQL, and DevOps tools gained through academics or project work.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Basic understanding of .NET development (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC).
- Familiarity/exposure to:
- Programming & Scripting: Python, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, React.js, Node.js, Shell Scripting, PowerShell.
- Frameworks & Tools: Angular, Dojo, Java/J2EE, WebSphere RAD, Eclipse, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss.
- GIS & Spatial Tools: ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, Spatial data design.
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, Amazon RDS, Oracle PL/SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Relational Database Design.
- Reporting Tools: Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Informatica, Trillium.
- Other Platforms/Tools: PeopleTools, Azure DevOps, WebServices, REST services, API development, ServiceNow.
