What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Vendor Manager(Mid-Level) position at Innovatix Technology Partners?
We are seeking a high-potential Vendor Manager to support vendor sourcing, coordination, and governance activities across IT and technology environments.
This role is ideal for junior to mid-level professionals who bring strong communication, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset, along with exposure (not necessarily deep expertise) in vendor management, procurement, or business operations.
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, gaining hands-on experience across the full vendor lifecycle, including sourcing, contracts, financial tracking, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Vendor Coordination & Support
- Support day-to-day vendor management activities, including communication, coordination, and follow-ups
- Assist in managing vendor onboarding/offboarding and access processes
- Track vendor deliverables, escalations, and service-related issues
2) Sourcing & Contract Support:
- Assist in RFP/RFQ preparation, vendor identification, and evaluation processes
- Support contract documentation, reviews, and renewal tracking
- Maintain vendor documentation and ensure proper record keeping
3) Financial & Reporting Support:
- Track vendor invoices, payments, and basic financial metrics
- Assist in cost analysis, budgeting support, and reporting
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and performance summaries
4) Governance & Performance Tracking
- Support SLA/KPI tracking and vendor performance monitoring
- Assist with audit, compliance, and governance activities
- Maintain reporting on vendor performance and risks
5) Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams (technology, finance, operations)
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Provide regular updates and support decision-making with data insights
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Exposure to vendor management, procurement, business operations, or similar roles
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - MANDATORY
- Proactive mindset with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Financial background
- Basic understanding of contracts and financial tracking (invoices, budgets)
- Basic understanding of IT, network, or technology environments
Salary : $50 - $52
