Facilities CAD/GIS Technician (Onsite, Creech AFB, NV)

Innovative Technologies Corporation (ITC) is seeking a Facilities CAD/GIS Technician to provide direct onsite support to the 432d Support Squadron Civil Engineer Flight (432 SPTS/CE) at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada. This position supports Air Force civil engineering, facilities planning, infrastructure sustainment, and project execution activities through the development, maintenance, and integration of CAD and geospatial data products.

Key Responsibilities

The CAD / GIS Geospatial Data Technician shall support Civil Engineer operations by performing the following duties in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS):

• Develop, update, and maintain computer-aided design (CAD) drawings and geospatial data products supporting facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and site planning.
• Create and revise facility layout drawings, utility maps, site plans, and as-built documentation to support construction, renovation, and sustainment projects.
• Maintain and update geospatial databases and mapping products used by the Civil Engineer Flight for planning, programming, and asset management.
• Integrate CAD drawings with GIS data layers to support spatial analysis, installation planning, and decision-making.
• Ensure drawings and geospatial products comply with Air Force, DoD, and Civil Engineer standards, formatting requirements, and data accuracy expectations.
• Coordinate closely with Project Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural), Construction Managers, Space Managers, and Government stakeholders to incorporate field changes, redlines, and project updates.
• Support space management, real property records, and facilities documentation by providing accurate and timely drawing updates.
• Assist with preparation of technical documentation and visual products for briefings, reports, and project reviews.
• Maintain version control and proper organization of CAD and GIS files in Government-approved systems.
• Perform onsite coordination with CE personnel to verify field conditions and incorporate changes into official records.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing CAD drafting and/or GIS geospatial support related to facilities, infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS or equivalent) and geospatial data management.
• Experience developing and updating as-built drawings, facility layouts, or utility maps.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, redlines, technical documents, and field notes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and configuration control.
• Ability to work onsite at Creech AFB and coordinate directly with Government personnel.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting Air Force, DoD, or federal Civil Engineer organizations.
• Familiarity with installation geospatial information systems, space management data, or real property records.
• Experience supporting construction or facilities sustainment projects in an operational environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a mission-driven setting.

**Compensation & Benefits:**

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience, plus medical/dental/vision benefits, 15 days PTO and 7 days sick time; other benefits available. This is a funded, immediately available position under ITC’s 432nd Civil Engineering Flight Support program (posted 13 March 2026).
