The purpose of this position is to use CAD software to achieve a variety of tasks related to finalization of drawings of parts related to hockey equipment for retail and Pro.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, validate, revise, and modify 2D and/or 3D model pieces according to the industrialization constraints
- Responsible to assure a good flow of 3D models to follow production deadlines
- Maintain a system (database) of files to keep track of the products.
- Design and produce the 3D models used for the Pro & Retail production according to the different needs of the customers.
- Participate in the resolution of problems concerning the products.
- Promote and create a safe and healthy work environment and align activities with company vision and values.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional diploma in a related field (industrial and/or mechanical drawing)
- At least two years’ experience in the field of CAD design
- In-depth knowledge of 3D modelling software for complex surfaces
- Understanding of CNC machines would be an asset
- Experience in advanced surface design is an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good capacity of analysis, synthesis and problem solving
- Sense of initiative, teamwork and excellent judgment
- Bilingual (French and English) is a definite asset
