What You'll Do:
- Inspect cups before placing them into boxes (KDs) and ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate and maintain case erectors and auto baggers, including loading film, KD, labels, and ink, and performing routine cleaning and adjustments.
- Open and position new KDs on stands, stamp and number them with legible and accurate information.
- Place full cases on conveyors for final inspection and notify supervisors of any issues beyond scope, such as quality or mechanical problems.
- Segregate spoilage and recyclable items into appropriate containers and clear jams in auto baggers and case erectors.
- Maintain and clean labelers and ink printers, including purging ink and cleaning printer heads, while ensuring accurate tally records.
- Assist with product design changeovers and provide relief to other Utility Packers during breaks.
- Load blanks onto the inkjet labeler machine and move labeled blanks to blank carts for further processing.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Positive team player with strong organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Capable of following verbal and written instructions.
- Able to perform physical tasks: standing/walking for up to 12 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying up to 30 lbs., and pushing up to 250 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various temperatures and humidity levels.
