Position Summary
Innovative Solution 4 U Inc. is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and client-centered Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our behavioral health team in Maryland. The successful candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges.
The professional will conduct clinical assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide individual and/or family therapy, monitor client progress, and collaborate with other members of the treatment team to promote positive outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling based on client needs and professional qualifications.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate to each client's needs.
- Monitor, document, and evaluate client progress toward treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in accordance with agency policies and applicable Maryland requirements.
- Participate in treatment-team meetings, case consultations, and care coordination.
- Coordinate services with families, healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, and other appropriate supports when applicable.
- Identify changes in client functioning, safety concerns, or other clinical needs and respond appropriately.
- Complete required clinical documentation, assessments, progress notes, and reports within established timelines.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and professional licensing requirements.
- Protect client confidentiality and maintain compliance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy requirements.
- Participate in continuing education, clinical supervision, staff meetings, and professional development activities as required.
- Perform other clinical duties consistent with the professional's credentials and the needs of the agency.
Qualifications
- Current Maryland clinical license appropriate to the position, such as LCSW-C, LCPC, LGPC, LCMFT, or another applicable independent clinical license.
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health discipline from an appropriately accredited institution.
- Experience providing mental health assessment, counseling, psychotherapy, or related behavioral health services.
- Strong knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and community-based behavioral health services.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of clinical need.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Ability to complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and background checks may be required based on program and position requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, or individuals with complex behavioral health needs.
- Experience providing community-based or outpatient mental health services.
- Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance-use concerns.
- Familiarity with Maryland behavioral health regulations, documentation standards, and community resources.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
