Job Summary:
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing staffing activities to ensure that client and organizational staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, employees, and management by recruiting qualified candidates, coordinating schedules, filling open shifts, and maintaining compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Candidate Screening
- Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone screenings and interviews.
- Verify candidate qualifications, certifications, and references.
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future staffing needs.
Staffing Coordination and Placement
- Match qualified candidates with client and organizational staffing needs.
- Coordinate interviews, assignments, and employee placements.
- Fill open shifts promptly, including last-minute and emergency staffing requests.
- Manage daily staffing assignments and ensure adequate coverage.
Communication and Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and managers regarding staffing matters.
- Provide timely updates on staffing requests and placement status.
- Address contractors' concerns related to scheduling and assignments.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with contractors, clients, and management teams.
Record Keeping and Reporting
- Maintain accurate contractor files and staffing records.
- Prepare staffing reports and monitor staffing metrics.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of staffing, scheduling, recruiting, or human resources experience.
- Experience with scheduling software, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and staffing best practices.
