The Project Engineering Support Specialist provides technical expertise in engineering solutions for intelligence support systems across MARCENT. This role supports the design, testing, and deployment of intelligence system capabilities, conducts feasibility analyses for new technologies, and recommends solutions to improve system integration and sustainment. The specialist assists in preparing technical documentation, specifications, and engineering support records to ensure systems are properly maintained and aligned with mission requirements. Leveraging 7–10 years of engineering experience, the specialist analyzes, documents, and presents Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance solutions to senior decision makers, ensuring that MARCENT capabilities meet both national and theater-level requirements. By combining technical engineering expertise with a deep understanding of C4ISR challenges, the Project Engineering Support Specialist strengthens MARCENT’s ability to operate advanced intelligence systems and sustain mission readiness. ***THIS EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD***
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Support design, testing, and deployment of intelligence system capabilities.
- Conduct feasibility analyses for new technologies.
- Recommend solutions to improve system integration and sustainment.
- Assist with technical documentation for engineering support.
Supplemental Duties:
- Provide engineering recommendations for enhancing MARCENT intelligence support systems.
- Assist leadership in evaluating emerging C4ISR technologies for integration.
- Contribute to technical briefings and system demonstrations for decision makers.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain compliance with MARCENT administrative procedures and reporting requirements.
- Ensure technical documentation is archived according to engineering and records management standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Education/Experience/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required.
- 7–10 years of project engineering or systems engineering support experience in defense projects.
- Experience in analyzing, documenting, and presenting C4ISR capabilities to higher-level decision makers for action.
- Keen understanding of C4ISR challenges and issues in the context of national and theater requirements.
- Technical knowledge of intelligence systems engineering.
- Ability to prepare technical specifications and documentation.
- TS/SCI clearance required.

Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary work with extensive computer use and technical document handling. May require system testing activities.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 0800–1600.
May require flexibility for operational requirements.
License and Other Requirements:
Valid U.S. Driver’s License. Eligibility for issuance of a Common Access Card .
