Project Coordinator
A growing construction company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support commercial construction projects in Mulberry, FL.
This is a full-time opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills who can coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, communicate with project teams, and help keep construction projects on schedule.
Pay
$19.00 ($39,520/year) – $31.00 per hour ($64,480/year), depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and project support to project managers and construction teams.
- Assist with construction planning, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project personnel.
- Track project schedules, work orders, and project progress.
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, transmittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
- Maintain organized project files and records.
- Assist with material procurement and material tracking.
- Review drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Help identify project coordination issues and discrepancies.
- Assist with project estimates and cost tracking.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses.
- Assist with invoices, billing, and payment applications.
- Maintain document control for drawings, specifications, and project records.
- Prepare project status reports and other project documentation.
- Assist with resolving project issues and keeping work on schedule.
- Communicate project updates with internal teams and external partners.
- Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Four-year degree in engineering, construction, or a related field OR equivalent technical training and relevant experience.
- Construction or project coordination experience preferred.
- Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
- Understanding of construction scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and cost control.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
This position may involve working in both office and active construction environments.
Candidates may occasionally be exposed to construction noise, dust, equipment, materials, varying weather conditions, and other typical construction-site conditions.
The position may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs or ladders, and occasional lifting of materials.
