Job Summary:
The Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods to and from customer locations. This role involves loading and unloading shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Truck Driver Duties
- Safely operate company trucks to deliver and pick up products.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe operation.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo properly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork.
- Comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and accidents immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license; CDL may be required depending on vehicle type.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous experience in driving, delivery, warehouse, or logistics operations preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50–75 pounds regularly.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and warehouse environments.
