What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injection MoldSetter (2nd & 3rd Shift) position at Innovative Plastic Molders, Inc.?
Position Summary:
Set up and operate plastic molding machines, such as injection molding machines, to mold, form, or cast materials to specified shape.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are as outlined below but not limited to the following:
- Perform set ups, operation and troubleshooting on plastic injection molding machinery/equipment.
- Read, understand and apply measurements and/or specs from calipers, micrometers, height & bore gauges, optical comparators & vision systems.
- Handle and process various types and grades of specialized, sensitive and/or delicate plastics and other components.
- Excellent attention to detail, safety, process completion and quality standards
- Document all information appropriately.
- Communicate regularly with all other staff and supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of experience in a Plastic Injection Molding role.
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent math, problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Working fluency of various grades of plastics, bonding/molding components and processes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to remain immobile, bend, lift, carry, kneel stoop and walk for duration of designated working hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
