We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/MIG Welder to join our production team in Mooresville, IN. The ideal candidate will have strong plate and tube welding experience and work effectively within a small team environment. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding to fabricate and assemble metal products according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications in a production environment
- Apply principles of assembling, welding, and fabricating
- Read and interpret paper blueprints and dimensional drawings
- Operate welding and general shop equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure product integrity
- Maintain a clean, safe work area following all safety protocols
- Collaborate within a small team (2-5 members) to meet production deadlines
- Assist in developing and improving welding techniques and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding or equipment issues
- Perform other related tasks to support operations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, good work ethic, and dependability
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Basic math skills
Preferred Qualifications
