Job Title : Financial Controller
Location : Houston, TX
Duration: Full Time
We’re looking for a proactive and business-minded Financial Controller to join our expanding accounting team in Houston, TX. You’ll oversee accounting and financial analysis for 15 production and retail sites across the Houston metro area, working closely with other divisional controllers, corporate accounting, and sales and marketing teams to support growth and drive operational success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a background in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site operations preferred.
- Prior experience in private equity or high-growth environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and cost accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, SUMIFS, INDEX, VLOOKUP, and ODBC functions.
- Proven hands-on expertise in month-end close processes, inventory management, and margin analysis.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and build cross-functional relationships.
- Highly motivated, analytical, and team-oriented professional with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
