As our Engineering Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, guiding engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams while also diving into technical projects yourself. This is a strategic role with real hands-on responsibility—perfect for someone who enjoys blending leadership with technical execution.
What You’ll Do
Player (Hands-On Engineering – ~50%)
- Design, program, and commission industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, VFD, motion control, robotics, etc.)
- Collaborate with customers to define project scope and deliver high-quality solutions
- Perform quality inspections and drive continuous improvement in production
- Document and implement engineering changes to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Lead and develop a team of technicians, and field service pros
- Manage production schedules, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure on-time delivery
- Provide technical support for field service and customer escalations
- Support sales with technical expertise, quoting, and feasibility reviews
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5 years of engineering experience, ideally in industrial automation or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and design tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD Electrical)
- Proven leadership skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities with calm, methodical problem-solving
- Experience in controls engineering and field service
- Familiarity with motion control, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networking
- A passion for mentoring and developing technical talent
