We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in flooring installation, including tile laying and restoration work. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints, manage projects on-site, and lead a team of installers to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee flooring installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Perform flooring installations, including tile laying, carpet installation, and hardwood flooring.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks.
- Conduct construction estimating for project budgeting and resource allocation.
- Manage restoration projects, including water damage restoration and fixture installation.
- Provide guidance and training to junior installers on best practices in flooring installation and restoration techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of the project.
Experience
- Proven experience in flooring installation with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Familiarity with carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, concrete finishing, and remodeling is highly desirable.
- Experience in the restoration industry is a plus, particularly in water damage restoration techniques.
- Ability to operate buffing machines and other floor care equipment effectively.
- Strong skills in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and working with hand tools are essential.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.60 - $29.63 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
