$15.00/hour plus 2% commission on every sale you close
Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
About the role
We need someone dependable to handle both sales and daily operations at our Belleville showroom. Half of the job is selling: greeting customers, helping them pick the right floor, and closing the sale. The other half is keeping the store running: orders, scheduling, inventory, paperwork, and a clean, organized showroom.
If you like owning your work and don't need someone looking over your shoulder, you'll fit right in.
What your day looks like
- Open the store in the morning and close it at the end of the day
- Welcome walk in customers and guide them through products, pricing, and options
- Follow up with leads and past customers to bring in new sales
- Respond to calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional way
- Prepare estimates and invoices and help process orders
- Work with installers, suppliers, and customers on orders and scheduling
- Keep samples stocked, inventory organized, and product availability tracked
- Keep the showroom, office, and displays clean and presentable
- Update customer records, file paperwork, and do basic data entry
- Help with social media posts and store promotions when needed
What we're looking for
- Friendly, clear communicator who enjoys working with customers
- Sales background is a plus, especially in flooring, home improvement, construction, or retail
- Organized, reliable, and good with details
- Can juggle several tasks and work without much supervision
- Comfortable with computers, POS systems, and basic office software
- Able to lift and move flooring samples and boxes
- Positive attitude and takes initiative
