Product Development Associate

In this hands-on laboratory role, you'll collaborate with scientists to design, optimize, validate, and document molecular testing methods that help bring new diagnostic products to market.

The Product Development Associate II will:

• Assist in developing and optimizing molecular diagnostic assays.
• Perform laboratory experiments, testing, and data analysis.
• Accurately document experiments, protocols, and research findings.
• Analyze results and present findings to the development team.
• Support assay validation, product development, and manufacturing documentation.
• Help create SOPs, QC procedures, and validation protocols.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, records, and compliance with quality standards.
• Work cross-functionally to meet project timelines and product goals.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years related work experience with Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 1 years related work experience with Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of quality systems and quality systems regulations a plus.
• Must have background in reagent preparations.
• Must have background in statistical analyses.
• Experience working in a molecular biology, biotechnology, or diagnostic laboratory.
• Experience working with PCR and DNA/RNA extractions strongly preferred.
• Hands-on laboratory skills and attention to detail.
• Strong documentation and data analysis abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment.
• Experience with regulated environments and electronic quality systems (such as MasterControl) is a plus.
