Part -Time | Staunton, Harrisonburg, Waynesboro | 25-30 hours/wk estimated
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and ownership of the spaces they care for. This role is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of approximately 36,000 square feet across our three Innovation Hub locations (Staunton, Harrisonburg, Waynesboro), historic, character-filled buildings that serve as home to our region’s entrepreneurs and business people.
What You’ll Do
- Perform all weekly cleaning and supply inventory with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine pride in how the space looks and feels
- Perform maintenance, including but not limited to: painting, basic carpentry, basic electrical/plumbing fixes, HVAC maintenance, vinyl application, landscaping, and general repairs and upkeep.
- Coordinate vendor visits and oversee repairs and improvements
- Keep tools, materials, and supplies organized and ready
- Take initiative to proactively identify and address maintenance issues before they become problems
- Work independently, setting your own schedule and managing your time effectively
What We’re Looking For
- A reliable, self-motivated person who genuinely enjoys caring for spaces
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things right
- General handyperson or facilities experience (preferred, but not required)
- Comfortable safely handling repairs, painting, cleaning, and occasional contractor coordination
- Efficiency-minded and creative problem solver
- Willing to learn new skillsets
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and basic tool set (we’ll help expand it as needed)
