What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Order Picker position at Innovated Staffing?
Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Warehouse Order Pickers for a Warehouse in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating an electric pallet jack and RF scanner to accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment.
Compensation Pay: $21/HR
Available Shift:
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Rotating schedule). Must be able to OT (1 hour after)
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and/or pick sheets
• Safely operate an electric pallet jack to transport products throughout the warehouse
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and product quality before packing
• Prepare, stage, and wrap orders for shipment according to company standards
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards in a high-volume environment
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow efficiency
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of recent warehouse order picking experience
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds heavy lifting!
• Proven experience operating an electric pallet jack and using RF scanners. An assessment will be conducted at the interview.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a cold environment and work OT when needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
